Crostini with Spiced Cream Cheese and Cranberry Balsamic Glaze

These little crostini are a tasty addition to your next charcuterie board or would make a great hors d'oeuvre for an office holiday party. Not to mention they are so easy to make and are ready in only 20 minutes!

Crostini with Spiced Cream Cheese and Cranberry Balsamic GlazeIngredients:

1, baguette
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ cup, Cranberry Balsamic Vinegar
8 ounces, cream cheese – softened to room temperature
1 tbsp, dried rosemary
½ tbsp, dried thyme
1 tsp, kosher salt
Black pepper – to taste

Instructions:

Slice the baguette into thin pieces.

Drizzle both sides of the baguette pieces with EVOO.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and toast the baguette pieces in batches.

Once the crostini are golden brown on both sides remove from pan and set aside.

Start on the cranberry balsamic glaze: In a small saucepan, slowly heat the cranberry balsamic to a simmer. Continue to simmer for 7-8 minutes until reduced by half, stirring occasionally so the balsamic doesn't burn on the bottom of the pan.

While the cranberry balsamic reduces mix the spiced cream cheese. In a small bowl mix together the softened cream cheese, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper until combined.

Spread some of the spiced cream cheese on one side of each crostini and transfer to a serving tray.

Drizzle the cranberry balsamic glaze over the spiced cream cheese layer.

Enjoy!
