Figueroa Farms Italian Varietals Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The Italian varietals (grown in California) in this oil are Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino, and Maurino. It has aromas of cut grass on a warm summer day and chaparral. On the palate, it has the toasted straw, hazelnut, and artichoke flavors that have come to define this oil. The oil is moderately bitter and has significant but not overwhelming pungency. Certified Extra Virgin Olive Oil by the California Olive Oil Council.
