Organic Allegra Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Allegra is a hybrid Italian varietal that is grown by just a few California producers. Our Organic Allegra extra virgin olive oil comes from a boutique sized artisan California producer that produces exceptional olive oil from their on-site Pieralisi Hammer Mill. This extra virgin olive oil is estate-grown and has a medium fruity quality with green tomato aroma and flavor. Expect robust, green, grassy notes with a mild balanced pungency. This is a great organic olive oil if you are looking to add a unique extra virgin olive oil to your oil offerings. With limited quantities available, this is an excellent olive oil for a tasting bar or a specialty grocery. With a rather enjoyable smooth finish, this olive oil can be used as a finishing oil on meats and cheese dishes.
